Astrites are one of the most important currencies in WuWa because you can buy pulls for the different banners with them. Being such an essential item in Wuthering Waves, they are more difficult to get, but not impossible, and there are several ways of farming Astrite for F2P players. You don’t need to spend hours playing a single day to get them either; you can get the same rewards with a casual daily routine. So, if you want to start saving Astrite for new characters, you should know all the tricks.
Synthesis, Data Bank, and Chef Level
Crafting items is equally important to have items to improve the DMG, raise HP, upgrade weapons, and more. However, cooking dishes from the Dish Making section or using the Potion making from the Synthesizer will also level you up, and each level grants Astrites. These actions also count for the daily quests: “Use 10 Consumables in total”, “Use 1 Supply,” or “Cook food once.”
On the other hand, you can also level up your Data Bank, and each level will give you 40 Astrites; so far, there are 20 levels. To level up quickly, you must absorb different Echoes, which is also part of the daily tasks.
Milestones and Tutorials
These tasks mainly involve leveling up Echoes, characters, or weapons. Milestones are usually completed as players progress; they are like a tutorial for the game mechanics. As for the tutorials, they are quick guides, and every time you find one, you will earn a couple of Astrites by reviewing them.
Boss Challenge, Tactical Hologram, and Tacet Field Cleanup
There are three different challenges, but completing each stage for the first time will earn you 20 Astrites. In the case of the Tactical Hologram, each stage has different difficulty levels, so you will get even more Astrites by completing them all.
Character Trials and Path of Growth
Each limited-time Resonator has its own Character Trial, and by completing them, you will earn Astrites. On the other hand, the Path of Growth is all the tutorials to see how to use each of your Resonators. The more characters you have, the more tutorials and Astrite you will have.
Guidebook Activities and Podcast Quests
Earn up to 60 Astrites by getting 100 Guidebook Activities Points. Guidebook Activities are daily quests that rotate, and you can decide which ones to do. They are simple and quick quests to do; you can even complete several simultaneously. Many of these tasks also count towards the Podcast Quests and improve your level in the Battle Pass to earn more rewards.
Depths of Illusive Realm and Tower of Adversity
Both game modes are considered part of the Wuthering Waves meta and the best ways to farm Astrite. The difference is that in Depths of Illusive Realm, you can use trial characters, making it relatively easier to complete. For Tower of Adversity, ensure you have the right character build and team composition; this challenge is riskier.
Some of the ways to farm Astrites in Wuthering Waves, such as Boss Challenge, Tactical Hologram, and Tacet Field Cleanup, require using Waveplates to obtain the rewards. In reality, there are different rewards; if you only look for the Astrites, you can take on the challenge and get out of it. If you also want to get the materials, you must spend your Waveplates. But as in this guide, there are other ways to earn pulls for your Resonators or weapons just by investing some of your time.
