Street Fighter V will be getting an update in just a few days, and it’s a pretty big one. An overview of the list includes Urien as a playable character, daily targets, new costumes, multiple bug fixes, new environmental KOs, fighter profiles, and a vs. CPU option with customizable skill levels (why wasn’t this in there before? Seriously).
Urien will cost 100,000 fight money or about $6. There are four costume packs: two 16-color sets for the original characters, one for default and one for story colors. Each costs 85,000 FM or $5. The other two packs feature 6 color sets for all the current DLC characters, again divided by default and story costumes. They run for 40,000 FM or $2. Hang on now, this is where it gets a bit confusing.

Street Fighter V Season Pass owners will receive the additional costumes in addition to Urien. The premium costumes will include all aforementioned colors upon purchase from now on, and previously purchased costumes will also include the added color schemes after the update.

The new environmental KOs can be executed in Union Station, Shadowloo Base, Apprentice Alley, Hillside Plaza, Kanzuki Estate, Forgotten Waterfall, City in Chaos, Underground Arena, and Lair of the Four Kings. The daily targets will give players a chance to earn between 100 and 5,000 FM per day for accomplishing certain tasks and partaking in certain game modes.
Bug fixes to Street Fighter V include removal of button input lag, Juri’s V-Reversal has extended invincibility and no longer hits downed opponents, Ibuki no longer stands upon taking crouch damage, Light Yoga Sunburst now charges when guarded, and Dhalsim’s V-Skill is fixed to build the V-Gauge rather than the Critical Art gauge. Dhalsim also attacks in the correct direction after an air teleport, and random misses have been removed against standing opponents, plus it is no longer possible to throw opponents going into a crouch after being knocked out of the air. A hurt box has been added to Birdie’s jumping LK recovery frames. Finally, disconnects will be determined between “Another fight is coming your way” and calculating FM and LP results.
And no, R. Mika’s butt slap has not been put back into the western version of Street Fighter V. Sorry.
