Gotham Knights, the upcoming open-world co-op adventure game from the team at Warner Bros Montreal, has today put out a new trailer showcasing gameplay of Robin, Batman’s iconic sidekick who must find his way in the world following Batman’s untimely death. Check out this new trailer below, which showcases a wide variety of weapons ready to bring pain to your foes.

How Does Robin Perform in the Gotham Knights Trailer?

Robin appears to have a bit of tech mixed with brute force, which is sure to brutalize his competition. Most notably is his baton, which can quickly transform into a bo staff in the heat of the moment. Not only is this a strong weapon on its own, able to inflict heavy damage alongside throw his foes around, but it also can be used to deflect enemy bullets, letting you get even closer to your foes. He also has your standard slingshot, which can be used to throw off enemies or even enable finishing moves on particular targets.

But where Robin seems to shine the most is in the tech side of his abilities. Utilizing teleportation technology used for other purposes, Robin is able to teleport himself short distances and secure a better position for larger battles. He can also deploy a decoy which, when hit by his foes, can deploy a rather explosive surprise onto the battlefield. The trailer ends off showing how he can combo with his fellow Knights for both interesting finishing moves and overall carnage against groups of foes. While Robin isn’t the shiniest of the Gotham Knights roster, especially when you have the dual-wielding talents of someone like Red Hood, he’s sure to bring plenty of pain as the gameplay shows.

Gotham Knights is set to release on October 25, 2022, on PC (Steam and EGS), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. For more information about the game, and to pre-order, head over to the official website.
