Grand Theft Auto 5 Update 1.66 Patch Notes: February 1, 2023
Security Adjustments

- Fixed an issue that could result in the modification of a player’s GTA Online experience by a third party, including:
- Altering GTA$ balance, RP level, Bad Sport status, and other player stats.
- Manipulation of players to receive random kicks or even crash.
Game Stability and Performance
- There are several general stability improvements.
However, as the dev team releases this patch, they will leave out several players. This scenario is attributed to the fact that Grand Theft Auto 5, the latest minor patch, will only affect Personal Computer players. The developers have indicated on the patch notes that this update is for PCs only! Therefore, players on other consoles will not experience any changes today.
As the dev team is working on GTA V, its upcoming sequel is currently in its final development stages. While Rockstar hasn’t yet shared the official release date for the sequel, we can speculate that the day is soon approaching.
Grand Theft Auto 5 by Rockstar Games and Rockstar North is playable on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Microsoft Windows via Steam.
