In a world of cut-throat competition, especially in the gaming industry, the director of Helldivers 2 believes people should hold on to their hard-earned money while they fix the server limitations and buy it later. The developers have their work cut out for them because the game had more concurrent players than GTA V.
Helldivers 2 had a massive launch, and in turn, has had some technical issues when it comes to logging in for so many players. The developers are hard at work and are aware of the login limits that people are facing. For now, the game is limited to 450,000 players, but that should change in the near future.
Helldivers 2 Is Great, But Buy It later Until They Fix The Server Issues
This happened when a Twitter user mentioned that he thought Helldivers 2 looked like a lot of fun, but he didn’t have enough money to buy it. The CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios, Johan Pilestedt, replied to the fan and said that they should “get it later.” He went on to say that if he saved up and spent his hard-earned money on a game only to be unable to log in, he’d be very disappointed as well. So holding off for now for a more enjoyable experience later is a good idea.
If you have no cash, get it later. While we made a really fun game it’s worth waiting until the servers can support the capacity. I mean, as a CEO I of course want the game to be as profitable as possible, but if you spent your last $ and got stuck in server queues I’d be [heartbroken].

Other fans said that Arrowhead Studios is being cheap and should just “buy more servers” to accommodate the massive number of players. Pilestedt confirmed that this is not the case, just buying more servers will not solve the problem. He went on to explain that this is a labor issue, and it requires time and work, and the team is working around the clock.
Helldivers 2 has had phenomenal success, surpassing games like Destiny 2 and Starfield on PC. Once these technical issues are ironed out, the game might become a fan-favorite for a long time to come.
