Many players struggle to process Quarry Bushes in Dwarf Fortress. The Bay 12 Games’ title offers a plethora of activities to do in the game. While some of it is easy to perform, others take effort and experience with the game. The Quarry Bush makes up the six subterranean crops in the game. Most crops in this category are grown underground, and the Quarry Bush is no exception. Players can plant these crops in the spring, summer, and autumn seasons. Now that we have some background knowledge about these peculiar shrubs, let’s take a look at how you can process Quarry Bushes in Dwarf Fortress.
Processing Quarry Bushes in Dwarf Fortress
You will need an empty bag to process the bushes. Once you have the Quarry Bushes with you, take them to the farmer’s workshop. Select “Process plant” to bag the work order. Processing will help separate the bus leaves and rock nuts. After the processing is over, you will have bags of Quarry Bush leaves and some rock nuts. A single bag will produce five Quarry Bush leaves and one rock nut.
Uses of Quarry Bush Leaves in Dwarf Fortress
To make these leaves edible, you must cook them in the kitchen. If you have bags of Quarry leaves, they will provide you with enormous stacks of food. This will save you some space and barrels. Keep in mind that you can’t brew Quarry Bushes in alcohol. Using Quarry Bush leaves to prepare food is great for fortresses that depend on selling substantial and expensive stacks of prepared food. They act as great fillers.
Uses of Rock Nuts in the Game
Players can mill rock nuts at a Millstone or Quern and turn them into rock nut paste. The paste is useful during cooking or pressed at a screw press, where players can turn it into a rock nut press cake and a jug of rock nut oil.
