With 007 First Light finally here, many players are ready to don the tuxedo, grab the martini, and jump straight into this mind-blowing spy thriller that IO Interactive has created. However, some might want to rush the story to try the new TacSim mode, or just see if it’s long enough to warrant a day-one purchase. Well, after completing the campaign, here we have a guide to show you how long it takes to beat 007 First Light, as well as all the chapters you can play in Bond’s first real adventure.
How Long Does it Take to Beat 007 First Light
Without beating around the bush, it will take you around 13 to 15 hours to beat 007 First Light. Of course, this time may vary and take less or more depending on your playstyle, routes you take in each level, and the difficulty. In our case, for instance, we saw the credits roll at the 14-hour mark, but that was because we avoided grabbing all collectibles and didn’t focus on challenges. Also, we played on standard difficulty, as the game recommended.
Also, if you, for whatever reason, decide to skip the cutscenes or pick the option to auto-complete QTEs, then your playtime will be reduced significantly, so we advise against it. The truth is that we feel playing it the first time on standard difficulty is the best thing you can do, and then, if you want to raise the difficulty or go for a completionist run, you can then try out each chapter individually from the main menu.
How Many Chapters Are in 007 First Light

In total, there are 17 missions in 007 First Light, but they are all combined into nine major chapters, all of which you can access through the game’s main menu as soon as you complete them. From there, you can pick what part of the mission to start playing at, and replay it as many times as you want, which is quite helpful if you’re going for a completionist run. Here is the full chapter list:
- Against All Odds
- A New Home
- All The Time in the World
- The Past Never Dies
- Uninvited
- Knightfall
- Time to Die
- Wave of the Future
- For England
As we said above, once you complete any of these chapters, you can select them from the main menu and replay some parts of them. You can also take a look at the challenges first before heading into one of the chapters if you want to complete a specific objective.
