Brilehaven is the third big city you can visit while participating in the succession tournament. While you may be distracted by your big plot to kill Louis, there are some interesting sights and places that you can see in this city. Although the Colosseum is the grandest structure you can visit, you can also find the Wary Shopkeeper at the Merchant Quater. Initially, you won’t be able to access the Eugief Shop in Metaphor: ReFantazio, but there is a way to force the owner to reveal his secrets.
What Is the Secret of the Wary Shopkeeper (Eugief Shop) in Brilehaven?
The Eugief Shop is a special store in Metaphor: ReFantazio where you can purchase rare items for the Masked Dancer Archetype. Note that, like other similar stores in this game, the Wary Shopkeeper will only allow you to buy one per day. However, the Eugief also sells unusual cooking ingredients every Idlesday.
Initially, you won’t be able to get the man to speak up at all. It is best to move on and keep completing the main missions. You will only get a hint of the true secret once you have reached the next big city. The informant at the tavern will tell you about it for a fee, and then you can confront the shop owner directly.
Note that you will need to establish a bond with Alonzo, more commonly known as Cuculus Martira. You should have already met this man back in the second town, where he asks you to investigate a dungeon. Once you have a connection with Alonzo, you can use his name to access the Eugief Shop.
The wares you can buy will change daily, so it’s best to visit this store regularly until you can buy the items you want. Each one costs 25,000 gold, so they are rather pricey. Here is the list of items you can expect to purchase at the Eugief Shop:
- Devil White Mask
- Tower White Mask
- Moon White Mask
- Star White Mask
- Sun White Mask
- Judgment White Mask
- Hanged White Mask
- Fortune White Mask
- Death White Mask
- Temperance White Mask
