One of the most divisive games of the year right now is Forspoken. Many people praise its traversal and fighting mechanics, while others can’t stand the dialogue and story at all. It is strange to see opinions like this, but with a game as big as this made by Square Enix, people were expecting more. Still, for those enjoying the game, there are many things to do, find, and, most importantly, fight. In the game, you’ll find yourself fighting against some of the Tantas. These bosses are corrupted magic users that the protagonist has to take on. The first you’ll face is Tanta Sila, and today we tell you how to beat her in Forspoken in this guide.
How to Beat Tanta Sila in Forspoken
While the game might seem easy at first, finding the first Tanta is what many people claim is when the difficulty curve of the game kicks in. Tanta Sila is Forspoken’s first major boss, and you beating her will unlock many things. Facing her can be daunting after just doing parkour and fighting against lower-level enemies. But don’t worry, because this guide will tell you how to beat Tanta Sila in Forspoken.
First Phase
The fight is broken down into three phases, each one adding more mechanics than the previous one. She’ll focus on one ranged and one melee attack for the first phase. This is what you can do to avoid each:
- Hide behind objects when she shoots fireballs at you.
- Parkour if you see her preparing to attack at melee range.
Second Phase
The second phase will begin once you see the statues turn into soldiers. Tanta Sila’s attacks won’t change, but this time you’ll have to deal with the soldiers and the boss. There are two ways you can go about it:
- Focus on Tanta Sila, avoiding the soldiers’ melee and ranged attacks. The best way to do this is by locking onto Tanta Sila and ignoring the other enemies.
- Focus on the soldiers first. This is the easiest way, but Tanta Sila will repeat her attacks from the first phase.

Final Phase
You’ll notice this phase starting once she explodes, changing the area a bit. In this phase, she’ll use her normal melee attacks but are some other high-damage abilities. You’ll be looking at giant fireballs, a flood of flames, and finally, flame marks on the ground. For the fireballs, go all the way to the back of the arena and dodge them as they come. For the marks, don’t step on them. Try to maneuver around them. Finally, for the flood, make sure that you parkour as soon as you see the flames. Repeat all of these things, and you’ll be on your way to beating the boss.
As you can see, it doesn’t sound too hard, but timing is essential. Knowing how to beat Tanta Sila in Forspoken is just the tip of the iceberg, as there are many more enemies to face in the latest portions of the game. So, grab your spells and get ready to face this first boss the game will throw at you.
