Forspoken, the brand new action RPG from the acclaimed developer Square Enix, lets you explore the magical-but-dangerous world of Athia as Alfre “Frey” Holland, a young woman transported there from New York City. Although many players have been outspoken about the game’s “cringe-y” dialogue, most still agree that the gameplay is pretty solid, especially regarding traversal and combat elements. And to open up more of Frey’s combat capabilities, you will need Mana; here’s how you can find more Mana and where to farm them in Forspoken.
How to Find More Mana in Forspoken
Mana is an important resource in Forspoken; it is used to unlock as well as upgrade Frey‘s Skills and Magic Spells, increasing her magical prowess throughout the game and making traversing through Athia much easier. There are several ways that you can do to collect Mana:
- Level up Frey; as she levels up, she will gain Mana too.
- Complete a bunch of Forspoken side quests. Some will reward you with more Mana.
- Complete Flashback Challenges. Reaching new high scores will reward you with more Mana.
- Keep an eye on Mana Pools (the small, glowing pillars) scattered throughout Athia. Unfortunately, Mana Pools don’t respawn.
The Best Way to Farm Mana in Forspoken
If you’re looking for the best spot to farm Mana, thankfully, Reddit user CeaseNY has found one of them. Just southeast of Cipal, you can find a huge horde of Zombies — around 50 or so — and you can defeat all of them to gain XP and Mana quickly. Of course, to farm them, all you need to do is just load your game, and the Zombies will respawn. According to CeaseNY, they can gain 65 Mana and 1,200 XP in just 20 minutes from farming this spot.
Meanwhile, if you’re bored of farming Zombies, MrFittsworth said you can head to the northern end of the marsh area (Avoalet) to farm Gators instead. Simply save and reload or do a fast travel to make them reappear.
