Ever since its debut in Generation III/Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, Ralts became one of the most sought-after Psychic Pokemon thanks to its evolution, Gardevoir. Armed with good stats and Psychic moves, Ralts’ evolutionary line is a good pick if you need to counter Fighting and Poison-Type Pokemon. If you want to add one to your Pokemon Scarlet and Violet party, here’s where you can catch and how you can evolve a Ralts in the Paldea region.
Where to Catch Ralts in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Ralts is considered to be a pretty rare Pokemon. According to the Pokedex, you can find them in South Province (Area One) in the Morning, Noon, and Evening; but they only have a 5% spawn rate. Spotting one is also kind of hard, and if they see you first, they might run away before you can catch them.
Most of the time, you can find a Ralts near other Pokemon in the Los Platos area. Try searching for them by walking close to the nearby mountain and see if one appears near the mountain walls.
How to Evolve Ralts in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
A Ralts can evolve into Kirlia at Level 20. Then, depending on its gender, a female Kirlia will evolve into Gardevoir at Level 30, while a male Kirlia has to be given a Dawn Stone in order to evolve into a Gallade. Ralts and all its evolution are available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
However, the Paradox or Future Form Pokemon of Gallade, called Iron Valiant, can only be caught in Pokemon Violet. Iron Valiant can be found in The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zero). Pokemon Scarlet players will have to trade or play Co-op Mode with a friend that has the other version if they want to obtain Iron Valiant.
