Want to know how to catch Sandfish in Stardew Valley? Fishing is not the only and certainly not the most integral part of Stardew Valley gameplay. But to find the rarest fish, you must travel a lot, and Sandfish is a prime example. Unlike most other fish, such as Perch or Pufferfish, you will not find Sandfish in lakes and rivers near your farm. However, the name of the fish itself tells you where you should go to catch Sandfish. And our guide is here to help you and tell you how to find Sandfish in Stardew Valley.

Where to Find Sandfish in Stardew Valley

As the name of the fish suggests, to catch the Sandfish In Stardew Valley, you must travel to the Calico Desert. To get to this place, you must use the bus service. So you probably won’t be able to catch this rare fish in the early days of gameplay. After all, to unlock the bus, you must progress through part of the game story and spend about 40,000g.

Once you’ve unlocked the bus, go to the bus stop and head to Calico Desert. Upon arrival, go to the northwestern part of the desert, find a small lake, and start fishing. It is worth noting that you can catch Sandfish at any time of the year in this lake, but between 06:00 and 20:00. The behavior of the fish after a bite is quite chaotic and differs depending on the individual, so until you see the catch, you will not guess who is on the hook.
