In Diablo 4‘s Corroding Mettle side quest, you are asked to track down a lost man and get information about him. To start the quest, you’ll need to talk to Siban in Ked Bardu. Ked Bardu is on the right side of Dry Steppes, as shown in the image above. It is recommended that you fast travel there. After talking to Siban and starting the quest, head south to seek out Ordun. You can see the area you need to go to on the map with a blue circle. Furthermore, you can reach the area quickly via fast travel.
Find Ordun by tracking the quest from your minimap and talk to him. Ordun is located south of where the shops are. Tell Ordun that his father is worried about him and ask about the situation. He will tell you that his brother Khada is selling goods at a camp in the north, and you should check on him. Then, you’ll need to find Khada’s caravan and see if he’s okay.
To find Khada, head north from your current location. You can see where you need to go more clearly on the map, as shown in the image above. Once you get there, you will encounter Khada’s rotting body. His corpse will be lying on the floor before the Cannibals’ Hold. Sadly, poor Khada was killed. Interact with the dead body, and return to Ordun to tell him the bad news by teleporting to Jirandai. Afterward, the Corroding Mettle side quest ends, and you earn your rewards in Diablo 4. You’ll get XP, Gold, and Renown as your rewards.
