It is time for guardians to face a familiar enemy in Heresy Act I: Echoed Warnings. This is the new seasonal quest in Destiny 2, and as always, you need to tackle it if you want to unlock most of the other new content coming this season. As usual, we’ve prepared a list of all the steps you need to follow to complete this lengthy quest and move on to other activities in Episode: Heresy.
Steps 1 to 5

The Vanguard are reeling from the death of a team member, and Oryx has returned to threaten humanity once again.

Step 6 to 10
Accept Mission Dossier: Blight from Beyond at the Shaping Slab in the Last City.

Mission Dossier: Blight from Beyond Venture into the Nether to assess and stem the spread of corruption.

Follow Sloane’s mentorship.
- Complete the “Trial of Will: Resolve,” located at The Spine of Keres.
Visit the Shaping Slab within Eris’s apartment in the Last City.

Continue walking the Path of Resolve.
- Obtain the Tome of Want from the Shaping Slab.
Steps 11 to 15
Train your mind in the rituals of the Tome of Want as Deputy CMDR Sloane assesses the intel you’ve recovered.

A Lucent Hive collaborator has alerted Deputy Commander Sloane to a possible Anchor incursion in Savathûn’s throne world. It needs to be dealt with.

Search the Nether for any remnants of the Skyburners’ deep-scan data, which can be found in chests and jars throughout the Nether.

Visit the Shaping Slab in the Last City.

Ponder the Tome of Want and employ your new powers.
- Drive back the scourge of Taken and Dread in the Nether.
Steps 16 to 21
Deputy Commander Sloane has a plan to hit the Dreadnaught and nullify the Eversion Anchors.
- Open Sloane’s dossier at the Shaping Slab and acquire the “Hive Hacking” quests.
Gather the necessary codes to access the Dreadnaught biosystems.
- Complete the “Hive Hacking” side quests
Board the Dreadnaught and disable the weapon.
- Complete the mission “Kludge.”
Escape the Dreadnaught and survive to tell the tale.
- Escape the Dreadnaught.
Return to Eris’s Apartment in the Last City.
- Receive Drifter’s call.
Visit the Shaping Slab in Eris’s apartment in the Last City.
- Visit the Shaping Slab.
