Whether you accepted Raphael’s deal or not, you’ll want to find out how to complete House of Hope in Baldur’s Gate 3. Raphael is a Cambion that appears in several moments of the game to offer you deals. In Act 1, he offers you to get rid of the parasite. If you learned anything from Wyll, you know making deals with devils rarely brings any positive outcomes. You can accept it or not, but you still need the Orphic Hammer, so you will have to find a way to get in. For that, you must continue reading this guide.

To open the portal to hell, you must talk to a character named Helsik, who is north of Lower City. You must pay her 20.000 gold or pass an intimidation or persecution check to make a deal with her.

After that, Helsik will give you the necessary items to start the ritual to enter hell. Once you have them in your possession, you must go up to the second floor of the place to complete the ritual.

You will find the Orphic Hammer in the Archive room, but it is protected and cannot be accessed directly. By talking to the Archivist and expressing interest in the Orphic Hammer, you may get an invitation to stay in Raphael’s room. There, you can interact with Haarlep, who will surrender the safe’s key one way or another.

The safe is hidden behind Raphael’s portrait to the bed’s left. Deactivate the trap on the painting and pick up a note with the password to deactivate the magical protection that guards the Orphic Hammer. To complete the House of Hope, you must face Raphael in combat and some flaming spheres, cambions, and Spectators. Finishing him off will complete this quest.
