The Noisemaker DMZ mission is a Tier 4 Shadow Company faction objective. And it asks you to pick a decoy grenade from the Sarrif Bay lighthouse in the Al Mazrah DMZ map, and dead drop it in Zaya Observatory. This is a simple mission in terms of the task you’re asked to do. But the tricky part is finding the Volatile Decoy Grenade in DMZ. Let’s review the details and see where exactly you would need to go, in order to complete this DMZ mission.

What Are The Noisemaker DMZ Mission Objectives?

  • Find and pick up the decoy grenade from Sarrif lighthouse in DMZ.
  • Dead drop the decoy grenade in Zaya Observatory.

This mission seems to be so simple for a Tier 4 DMZ objective, but there’s always a catch. The decoy grenade you see above is the one you’re looking for. However, this decoy can not be used as a tactical equipment. In fact, you’re only having this as an extra item, and the trouble begins as soon as you put it in your backpack.

You’ll find this item in the location you see in the image above. When you reach the Sarrif Bay POI, you’ll see the lighthouse. Climb up the ladders to reach the top spot, and from there, pick the item called the “Volatile Decoy Grenade”. In the description, it says that this decoy grenade is a specialized edition, but in fact, it’s only there to ruin your day on DMZ.

In the Noisemaker DMZ mission, the decoy grenade you pick will start making loud noises. Your backpack will produce bombs and gunfire sounds. And as a result, anyone carrying a weapon around you will start shooting you down. The worst part is that the enemy online players will also notice this sound and may come to kill you.

The best strategy for completing the Noisemaker DMZ mission is to acquire a vehicle first. Find yourself a dirt bike or chopper before picking the decoy grenade. Then, race to the location you see in the image above. This is Zaya Observatory’s dead drop coordinates. Drop the Volatile Decoy Grenade item in it, and your mission will be complete.
