First, to accept The Iceless Icehouse side quest, you must travel to the border area between the Gerudo Desert and Gerudo Highlands. At the southern foot of the mountain and south of the Birida Lookout Chasm, you will find a Northern Icehouse. Although this place is more like a large boulder, walking around it, you will notice a small passage. Inside the Icehouse, you will meet the NPC Anche, and you can accept The Iceless Icehouse side quest.

After talking to NPC Anche, you will learn that ice reserves in this place have melted due to the heat. In addition, there hasn’t been a new supply of ice for quite some time, and now she needs help. To complete The Iceless Icehouse side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you must create ice in Anche’s house and place it in the storage areas. Here’s how to do it.

  • After talking to Anche, freeze the water in the puddle in the middle of the room. You can throw Ice Fruit or White Chuchu Jelly into the water or use a weapon fused with Sapphire to freeze part of the puddle.
  • Once you’ve created a large block of ice, NPC Anche will say that such a large piece will not fit in the storage. Use Fire Fruit, a weapon fused with Ruby, or a torch to melt the ice. However, one arrow shot from the Fire Fruit is enough to create a perfect piece of ice.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
