The Mother Goddess Statue in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a powerful entity that needs your help. The statue has fallen over, and the smaller Goddess Statues of Courage, Strength, and Wisdom task you with helping them give power back to the mother. At first, those smaller fetch quests can seem like a waste of time, but all this leads to a very useful weapon. Here is how to complete The Mother Goddess Statue in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

The Mother Goddess Statue side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is very straightforward. After giving the third and final dragon claw to your last spring, you will be given this mission. All they will tell you is to visit the Mother Goddess. Given that you have already seen the toppled-over statue earlier, you should know exactly where to go.

All you need to do is go to the Forgotten Temple located to the southeast of Tabantha Tundra. This is where to find the Mother Goddess Statue in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Fast travel to the Mayausiy Shrine and walk into the room with the Mother Goddess Statue that is now standing up and glimmering. Luckily, she does not need you to give her anything like the others. This whole side quest is just a way to reward you for your efforts. Talk to the statue, and she will give you the White Sword of the Sky.

Can the Master Sword Break in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

If your melee weapons inventory is filled up, you must drop an item to get the new sword. If you didn’t know, the White Sword of the Sky references The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. That Wii game only gave Link the Master Sword as his main weapon, so this is supposed to be a similar weapon. Of course, you can get the actual Master Sword for yourself in Tears of the Kingdom, so Nintendo didn’t want to put two versions of the legendary sword in Tears of the Kingdom.

The White Sword of the Sky has 24 base damage and decent durability. Unlike most metal weapons in the game, the Gloom has not affected it, so it has not deteriorated. Of course, you can make it even better by fusing it with a material. Once the White Sword of the Sky breaks, the only known way to get it back is to scan the Skyward Sword Link amiibo.
