And besides everyone’s favorite Shrines, you can also help the inhabitants of the Hyrule world and complete a ton of side quests. During one of the first side quests, you will meet treasure hunters named Domidak and Prissen. They can’t get to the treasure in the middle of the lake, but you can help them. As we said, the goal of The Treasure Hunters quest is to get to the chest standing on the ruins in the middle of a bottomless lake. Such a task would seem impossible for the ordinary Hyrule inhabitant, but Link is stronger and more skilled than any character. Thanks to your abilities, you will complete this quest, but as always in the games of the Zelda series, you must think outside the box.

To complete the Treasure Hunters side quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you don’t need to go to the chest but need to carry it to the shore. Here is how you can do it:

  • After receiving the quest from the quest givers, turn 180 degrees and go straight ahead. Soon you will see a pile of planks stacked to your right.
  • Take at least five planks (you can also use narrower planks) using your Ultrahand ability and stick them together. Create a very long plank like you did in Ukouh Shrine.
  • Stick five planks, lift the created structure using Ultrahand ability, and carry it to the lake. You will see a chest in the middle of the lake to the right of the quest givers.
  • Create an improvised bridge from the shore to the chest and stick the chest to the long plank.
  • Move the chest to the shore and open it, after which you will receive 3 Bomb Flowers.

Finally, you only need to return to Domidak and Prissen and talk to them. They will be surprised by your abilities, after which you will complete The Treasure Hunters side quest.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
