After completing the Lightning Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a bunch of new quests open up to you. Gerudo Town is filled with people who need help, so Link, being the hero he is, gets to work. Talking to Pokki at the eastern Sand Seal rental spot will tell you she needs to research some ruins, but she lost the map. Here is how to complete To the Ruins! in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and East Gerudo Ruins location.

The To the Ruins! Quest in Tears of the Kingdom is actually really simple to complete. Talk to Pokki at the eastern Gerudo Town entrance. She will ask you to rent a sand seal with a sled. This will cost 50 Rupees, but don’t worry; you’ll be making that back and more. After you have your sand seal, talk to her and tell her to hop on.

If you are stuck wondering where the East Gerudo Ruins are in Tears of the Kingdom, it’s not a tough place to find. From Gerudo Town, you essentially need to head straight East and get past Palu Wasteland. Pulling up your map, you can see East Gerudo Wasteland just northwest of the East Gerudo Chasm. Place a pin here so you know where to go at the minimum.

When ready to leave, put on some heat or cold-resistant armor and set out. You will encounter monsters along the way, but they are completely optional. You can ride right past them without alerting them at all if you choose.

Once you get to the entrance of the East Gerudo Ruins, Pokki will say to stop. She will note how some of the ruins are missing, but this is definitely the spot she needs to be. When she is done talking, she will reward you with 100 Rupees. That is all there is to the To the Ruins! quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

While you are at the East Gerudo Ruins, we recommend jumping into the sinkhole in the middle of the area. While you may expect it to be a death trap, this is actually a cave entrance. Explore this cave to find another Bubbul Gem from a Bubbulfrog, some treasure, and one of the missing ruins.
