On August 14, 2023, a new weekly event became available in Phasmophobia. As mentioned, it’s called Tortoise and the Hare, which describes it perfectly, as you have to engage in a ghost race. To be more precise, you need to identify the ghost correctly in Bleasdale Farmhouse three times. The in-game description says:

Give it your all, this ghost is feeling especially frail.

As for us, this is more like a challenge for a ghost than for you. You will take on the role of Hare, so your speed will be increased by 125%. At the same time, the ghost will move at 75% of its normal speed. Therefore, you can find all the evidence before you are killed. However, you still have to be careful, because even a slow ghost is very dangerous.

How To Complete Tortoise and the Hare Challenge

Fortunately, during the challenge, all possible equipment will be available to you. Therefore, the strategy for completing this challenge is very simple:

  1. Carefully explore every corner of the house in search of a ghost. The ghost is quite slow, so you have a lot of time for it.
  2. After finding the ghost room, run several times to the truck to bring all the necessary equipment and find all the evidence.
  3. Be careful, as even a slow ghost can pose a threat to you.
  4. Identify the ghost and return to base.
  5. Repeat these two more times, and you will complete the Tortoise and the Hare challenge in Phasmophobia.

That’s all you need to know about the Tortoise and the Hare challenge in Phasmophobia. This challenge is quite simple, so you should be able to complete it without any problems. But it is worth noting that you need to hurry, as the next challenge will begin on August 21st. In the meantime, take a look at our guide on how to find Fingerprints.

She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
