This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

As you play through Monopoly Go, you’ll have your really good rolls and your really terrible rolls. Sometimes, it’s better to just tell yourself that bad things just happen and to move on. Other times, you can use the special airplane mode hack to restart your rolls and go at them a second time. If you’re here, it’s because you’re tired of getting terrible rolls, and we have the solution on how to properly do the airplane mode hack in Monopoly Go.

How Does the Airplane Mode Glitch Work in Monopoly Go?

The glitch is pretty easy to do once you know how. Just follow these instructions, and you’ll have it in no time:

  1. Turn on the airplane mode feature on your phone.
  2. Roll your dice (you can use a multiplier when doing this).
  3. Close the game after your bad roll and open it back up (airplane mode should still be on).
  4. Turn on airplane mode when the loading bar is at 15%.
  5. Check your dice when you are allowed back in the game to see your dice refunded and your piece back in the same spot.

When you do this, you’ll notice that the game will take an incredibly long time to open back up again. This is a sign that the hack is working because the game is trying to reset itself using the cellphone or wifi that it now has.

How Does The Airplane Mode Hack Help?

The airplane mode hack in Monopoly Go works great if you’re really being meticulous about which spaces you’re landing on. For some Quick Wins rewards, you’re required to do very specific tasks, and if you find that it’s taking too long to get those rewards, then you’re right to be frustrated.

Since this trick lets you reroll your dice again, you’ll have another chance to try and land on the railroads, Chance space, or Community Chest spaces that you would rather land on than leave it up to chance.

It’s also good for certain events, like the Wilderness Retreat event, which requires you to land on certain spaces in order to earn points for rewards. Again, rather than leaving it up to chance, it’s easier to reroll your dice to get the roll you prefer so that you aren’t wasting anything.
