As we are getting close to the release of Dragon’s Dogma II many players wanted to experience the first beforehand to be familiar with the world of the dragons. Since it was released quite a while ago, some systems like fast travel may be confusing, as it’s pretty unique compared to just about every other action RPG out there. So here is how to fast-travel in Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen.

In Dragon’s Dogma, you can find and purchase Ferrystones that are used to fast travel to different locations. The Black Cat in Gran Soren and the Chamber of Estrangement are two of the best locations to find Ferrystones. However in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen you can find an Eternal Ferrystone in your inventory which you can use as many times as you like.

Ferrystones will only take you to where a Portcrystal is located. Most of the major cities in the game, like Gran Soren, have Portcrystal Rings in them that you can travel quickly through. On the other hand, you can get and place a Portcrystal anywhere you want. Portable Portcrystals can be placed anywhere except on Bitterblack Isle or underground locations.

You will unlock Portable Portcrystals as you progress through the game and it will be unlocked after completing main quests. Now to summarize the fast travel in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen:

  • You need Ferrystones to fast travel in Dragon’s Dogma
  • You can purchase this item or find it around but in Dark Arisen you have an Eternal Ferrystone in your inventory
  • You can only travel to locations with Portcrystals like big cities

That was everything you needed to know about fast travel in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. Make sure to check our website for more guides and articles as well.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
