One of the most effective Flying-type Moves in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is Aerial Ace, an attack learned through TM 027. What makes this Move so excellent in battle is its ability to unleash an attack that never misses and deals Super Effective damage to Grass-, Fighting-, and Bug-type opponents. Nevertheless, despite the TM’s description stating that it “never misses,” it can occasionally be rendered obsolete if an enemy uses a Move like Protect, Detect, or Bounce. Still, Aerial Ace is a great attack Move will that can increase the effectiveness of many Flying-type and other various pocket monsters in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Finding and Crafting Aerial Ace TM in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
To unlock the Aerial Ace TM Recipe in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers must complete a challenge within South Province (Area Two), the zone southwest of Mesagoza. Players must find and defeat five Trainers within this region, after which they can receive the Aerial Ace TM as a free reward from the Pokémon League Rep at the Cortondo (East) Pokécenter.

Once players have acquired the TM recipe for Aerial Ace in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, they can craft it using the following materials, according to sources at Game8:
Resource | How to Obtain |
League Points ×800 |
|
Starly Feather ×3 |
|
Fletchling Feather ×3 |
|
For reference, both Starly and Fletchling are weak to Electric-, Ice-, and Rock-type Movesets. Accordingly, using a pocket monster with Moves of one of these elements is recommended when farming the feathers for the Aerial Ace TM.
