Learning how to complete the “Find the Missing Shipment” side quest in Baldur’s Gate 3 can be strange. Not only does it take you into the path of some pretty overpowered enemies, but it is one of the few quests not given by an NPC. To begin the quest, you must search for survivors in a destroyed caravan along the road to the Mountain Pass. You will find a corpse carrying a note that mentions a valuable chest and someone called NF. Where to Find the Caravan Remains in Baldur’s Gate 3

You should start at the Blighted Village waypoint to find the Caravan Remains. From there, head directly North down the Risen Road until you come to the portion of the road that splits into three different paths at (24,526). Take the path directly to your right, where you will find a pack of Bloated Hyenas, which will birth newborn Gnolls. Make sure you engage in combat and defeat the group of gnolls.

Once you’ve defeated the Gnolls, look around the area to find the merchant corpse who holds the Shipment Orders on them. The shipment Orders will explain that a valuable chest must be delivered to NF, but there is no chest in sight.
Search for Survivors of the Caravan
Now, you must search for survivors of the Caravan Remains. If you check your map after updating the quest objective, you will have to head North again. It would be best to begin by following a set of Gnoll’s footprints that lead into a cave.
As you approach, a cutscene will begin where you speak to another Illithid-infected beast, a Gnoll Warlord named Flind. Every action or dialogue path you take will lead you to combat with Flind, so be prepared to take some heavy hits.
How To Find the Missing Shipment in Baldur’s Gate 3
Once you’ve defeated Flind and his pack of Gnoll Hunters and Hyenas, you should look around the cave. A quick passive perception check will reveal a locked chest within the cave. From here, there are two different paths you can take. You can either unlock the chest and collect its contents for yourself or pick up the entire chest to return it to its owner.

If you choose to return the chest to the still-living caravan members, you will speak with Olly and Rugan, who offer you a place to drink at an invitation-only place in Waukeen’s Rest, which completes the Find the Missing Shipment side quest in Baldur’s Gate 3.
