Many multiplayer-oriented games tend to have a few bugs, and sadly, Helldivers 2 isn’t an exception, especially with the latest “No Rewards After Mission” error. While the game had a rough launch due to server issues, it seems that these problems reached players’ rewards as well. Since this is a live-service game, progress is paramount to unlock weapons and other items, so not having a proper payout at the end of a mission can be frustrating. However, there is one simple way to solve it.
“No Rewards After Mission” Error in Helldivers 2 Explained
If you didn’t know, one common error that happens in Helldivers 2 is one that doesn’t give you rewards at the end of a mission. After spending a lot of time on the rewards screen, many gamers reported they didn’t get anything even if they completed all main and side objectives on the map. Thankfully, the developers were fast to address this and claimed it happened due to server problems caused by the huge number of players. With that in mind, they provided a temporal solution for all Helldivers.
To get rewards in the game again, you must do the following:
- Reboot the game and join a match again.
- The developers claim this happens due to high server traffic and the inability of these to track rewards accordingly; a normal game reboot should do the trick.
- Join a map that has a low player count.
- We’ve noticed that some errors, such as the Automaton ones, don’t appear on maps with a low player count. This is also a temporary solution, but it will let you play without getting disconnected or losing your rewards.
Remember that these solutions are only temporary, and as of now, we haven’t seen a new update that removes these issues. Still, you should know that the team behind this game has already done a lot of work to improve server stability; they even increased the player capacity, and new gamers are still flooding in, so be patient while these problems are patched.
Still, those lucky enough to find a match are in for a treat. This game has a lot of things to do with each difficulty unlocking new missions and enemies to fight. Besides, you don’t need to pay anything other than the game’s full price to enjoy all of its content, making it one of the most complete live-service games out there.
