Do you want to know how to free the trapped Goddess statue in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? Freeing the Trapped Goddess Statue is a side quest before the Call From the Depths quest. You can free the trapped Goddess statue in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom by breaking the pile of stones at the lake wall and speaking to the figure buried on the ground. Here are the steps you need to follow.

1. Go to the Temple of Time and interact with the Goddess Statue

Once you interact, the statue will say, “I am trappedโ€ฆunder the waterโ€ฆbehind the stone gateโ€ฆof the great plateauโ€ฆ,”. However, it does not give you the location where it is trapped. This will start the Trapped Goddess Statue side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

2. Go to the south part of Lake Kilomo, where two roads are met.

The exact locations you must travel to are shown in the above image near Lake Kilomo. A lake wall is blocked with piles of Rocks from the other side. Go to the other part of the wall and break the pile of rocks with a hammer or Bomb Flowers. Also, the water stock on the other side will flow over Link, and you will see a rust-colored statue buried under the ground. It is the one that is connected to the Trapped Goddess Statue in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. However, do not forget to collect some fish flopping on the floor before reaching it.

3. Approach the Statue and Interact with it.

Once you interact with the statue, it will say, “You who hear my voice. Come to me in the Temple of Time ruins. Up the road on the Plateau to the south…” So you have to head back to the Temple of Time to complete the Trapped Goddess Statue in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

4. Go back to the Temple of Time and interact with the Goddess Statue

Once you interact with the Goddes Statue, it will say, “You who hear my voice. As a result of you draining the water from the gate, a part of me has been freed. You have earned my gratitude.” Also, this dialog will end the Trapped Goddess Statue side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and start the Call From the Depths quest.

Even though this is a small side quest, it might be daunting if you do not know the exact location to look. Therefore, follow the instructions carefully, as they will lead you directly to the final solution.
