To get a Gilded Invitation in Golden Pelican in Sea of Stars, complete the game’s story and get the True Ending. If you were looking for a short answer, here it is. After all, if you have not yet completed the game plot, the following can be a serious spoiler. However, we warned you, and then the choice is yours.

Back on topic, once you’ve completed the game and gotten Garl back, you can talk to him. Some of the dialogue is idle chatter, but later, he will give you a mysterious Hook of Time. And this particular item is the key to the invitation to the restaurant. So once you’ve got the Hook of Time, here’s what you need to do to get a Gilded Invitation in Golden Pelican in Sea of Stars:

  1. Go to Stillpond Island and find a small lake.
  2. Use Hook of Time and start fishing where something glitters under the water.
  3. Soon, you will catch the Dungeon. This isn’t a joke, as you will get the entrance to a large dungeon from the bottom.
  4. Enter the Dungeon and go through it to the very end. Aside from the battles and winding paths, fish in every lake along the way, and you’ll be able to make it to the end. For example, you must catch a fish key to get to the next room.
  5. Once you reach the final room, you will go fishing again and catch a giant fish. He will approach the shore and start a dialogue.
  6. After a short dialogue, you will learn that this Bass is the chef of the Golden Pelican. Talk to him again, and you will receive the coveted Gilded Invitation.
