As we mentioned above, there are 4 such masks in the game, and you can find them all in Grymforge during Act 2. You may have managed to find 1 or 2 during your adventures, but still, for the best results, it is advisable to collect all the masks, and here is where you can get them:

  • As a reward for defeating Merregon Legionnaire, just loot his corpse.
  • On the altar, in the room where the aforementioned boss is located.
  • On the table in the main hall of Grymforge, at the following coordinates: X:-621, Y: 326.
  • Near the skeleton, which is located at the following coordinates: X:-666, Y:461.

How To Use Devilfoil Masks in Baldur’s Gate 3

After collecting all Devilfoil Masks in Baldur’s Gate 3, you can choose 1 of 3 options for using them, namely:

  1. Sell: Probably the worst option, but it will be okay for those players who do not need the effects of these masks. You can find a vendor and sell these masks for 50 gold each.
  2. Equip: This option will be useful for those who were looking for a buff for combat because the masks were originally designed for this purpose. The effect of the masks is called Infernal Legion and here’s how it works: When your character is within 20 meters of a creature wearing this mask, he or she gains +1 to Strength, but -1 to Charisma, Intelligence, and Wisdom. If all your companions wear the mask, each of them will be able to increase Strength by +3, neglecting the other characteristics accordingly.
  3. Crafting: In addition to all of the above, you can also ask Dammon to create unique equipment, namely the Orthon Explosive. To do this, you will need to visit the Last Light Inn, which is located in Shadow-cursed Lands.
