Hallow Essence is a legendary item that you need to summon Soul Reaper, and if you want to fight him, you should be prepared well because he is level 2100 with 260,000 HP. There are two ways to get Hallow Essence in Blox Fruits, so below, you will learn how to do it, as well as how to use it. It’s worth noting that since it’s a legendary item, it rarely drops, so most of it will come down to luck.
Blox Fruits: How To Get Hallow Essence
Hallow Essence is a legendary item that you can’t loot from enemies and bosses, or get as a quest reward. Instead, you will need to buy a random surprise or pray. Both of these options are available only at Haunted Castle. So, let’s talk about each of these methods in more detail.
Pray
The first method is free. All you need to do is go to the Gravestone, interact with it, and select the Pray option. You can pray every 20 minutes, but only at night. After you finish praying, you will receive rewards. Among them can be bones, experience, and a small chance you might get Hallow Essense.
Random Surprise
An alternative is to try your luck and buy a Random Surprise from Death King. This NPC is located right next to the Gravestone, and when you interact with him, you will see a dialog option where he will ask if you have any Bones. If you say yes, you will see several options that you can interact with. Choose the first one in the column that says Random Surprise. After doing so and confirming the purchase, you will receive rewards, among which may be Hallow Essense.
The purchase of one Random Surprise costs 50 Bones, and you can only make 10 purchases every 2 hours. Between purchases of Random Surprise, you can use the Gravestone to pray and get at least a few Bones as a reward if you have no luck with Hallow Essense. You can also get Bones by killing skeletons in the same location.
Blox Fruits: How To Use Hallow Essence
The main purpose of using Hallow Essence is to summon Soul Reaper, a powerful level 2100 boss. To do this, you will need to approach the altar with the blue flame, selecting the slot with Hallow Essense as active.
The altar is located near the chapel where Gravestone and Death King are placed. Just exit the building, go straight, and then turn left twice at the first turn. This way you will reach the altar with the blue flame. Get closer to it to summon the boss. You’ll know you’ve succeeded if the item disappears from your inventory and in the middle of the screen you see a notification that something unknown has appeared. When this is done, you can find the Soul Reaper in one of the castle towers and kill it.
