How To Get Band of the Fanatic in Remnant 2

Pretend you’re one of them.

While The Awakened King DLC brought many new items to the world of Remnant 2, you cannot get some of them on your first playthrough, and Band of the Fanatic is one of them. Despite its scary appearance, this ring can significantly increase the damage from status effects while reducing their duration, making it a good accessory for some Ritualist builds. However, the search for this item can be protracted because instead of killing Drans, you must pretend to be one of them. You will need specific clothing, and we will help you find it.

First, it’s worth noting that you can get Band of the Fanatic in Remnant 2 at the beginning of The Awakened King DLC shortly after spawning in the Forlorn Coast area. But you cannot do this during the first playthrough. Thing is, you’ll have to talk to Dran Preacher and get this item directly from him.

When first entering the Forlorn Coast, follow the main street along the stone path until you reach a small square. You will see several weak Drans on the square and one preacher on the scene. On your first playthrough, you won’t be able to avoid the attack. You must run away or kill all the enemies, but the dialogue will not work. But a little later in the story, you can get Zealot’s Set, in which they will accept you as one of their own.

Having equipped the necessary outfit, start a new playthrough in Adventure Mode and get to the same square at the beginning of the DLC story. After this, stand between the listeners and listen to the end of the sermon. As soon as the crowd starts to disperse, go up to the scene and talk to the Dran Preacher. Select several dialogue options, after which you will receive a Band of the Fanatic ring.

Please note that having a Zealot’s Set is crucial to enemies accepting you as one of them. In addition, do not even think about shooting or attacking any enemy in that area. You will not be suspected as long as you do not show aggression. Otherwise, you will have to start a new playthrough.

To find Zealot’s Set, you must progress through the story until you reach the Palace of the One True King. Go around this and approach the lone tower at the back of the building. Under the wooden bridge, you will notice several corpses, one of which is in a black robe. Shoot the rope and take the clothes as soon as the corpse falls.

Remnant 2: Band of the Fanatic Stats

As we said earlier, Band of the Fanatic is what you need to unlock the full potential of the Miasma ability of the Ritualist archetype. By increasing Status Effect Damage by 25%, you must sacrifice 65% of Status Effect Duration. But you can use this item simultaneously with Legacy Protocol, thereby slightly compensating for the duration of the effects and lowering the skill cooldown. It is just one of the options for using this item, though it’s ultimately totally up to you.
