So, you want to be edgy and overpowered in Palworld? You can’t do that without the Dark element, and you might also want a Pal that complements the aesthetic well. Menasting is, thus, one of the best candidates for this, being a Dark element scorpion-like Pal. Here’s how you can get Menasting in Palworld through various methods.

Catching Menasting in Palworld

The good old-fashioned Pal Sphere catching is the best way to get a high-level Menasting. That’s because Menasting in Palworld‘s open-world area starts at level 44 as a field boss. Consequently, that also means catching Menasting is a tough affair.

We’ve detailed the location above on the map in case you’re ready. Menasting in Palworld is specifically located at coordinates 492, 81. However, Menasting is inside the Dessicated Mineshaft located south of the PIDF Tower Entrance teleport point. The entrance to the mineshaft is marked with an arrow in the image above.

To catch Menasting, you’ll want these pointers:

  • Bring a Dragon-type or element Pal. Dark element Pals like Menasting are weak to Dragon element.
  • Bring at least a Handgun as your weapon.
  • Use Legendary Spheres. Even then, the capture chance will be low.

The arena in which you fight Menasting can also be dark, so remember to bring some light sources if you can.

If you’re not that well-equipped to catch a level 44 boss, then you have no other choice but to breed Menasting.

This is the other, safer way of getting Menasting. However, it has drawbacks since any Pal you breed will start at level 1. That’s a lot of work to get him to the same level as the Menasting field boss. Moreover, you will need the Egg Incubator structure, which is the first Ancient Technology you can unlock.

To unlock it, you will need Ancient Technology Points, which you can obtain from defeating field bosses or Alpha Pals.

Additionally, you will still need to catch some pretty powerful Pals to breed Menasting. Keep these Pal combos in mind if you want a baby Menasting:

  • Blazamut + Cinnamoth
  • Blazamut + Penking
  • Cryolinx + Pyrin
  • Mossanda + Necromus
  • Mossanda + Paladius
  • Mossanda + Shadowbeak
  • Nitewing + Paladius

Of those, either Cryolinx + Pyrin or Mossanda + Shadowbeak is our recommendation since it’s easier to catch those Pals, unlike Blazamut or Paladius/Necromus.

Oddly enough, once you have either Necromus or Paladius for breeding a Menasting, you likely have the capability to catch a boss Menasting anyway since those Legendary Pals are level 50.
