Goo might be an odd thing to think you need in Enshrouded, but you would be very wrong. If you think about it, the whole world of Embervale is filled with magic, mystery, and loads of monsters. Is it really all that wild to think that Goo would actually be a practical and necessary resource? Of course, it isn’t. Do you enjoy using a Staff and Staff Charges? Maybe you have a thing for extra-protected and magical chests. Either way, Goo is a requirement for some players, so it’s best to learn how to get it before you run into a wall (like I did my first time trying to find it) and get discouraged.
How To Craft Goo
How to get Goo in Enshrouded doesn’t require you to have too many materials, but getting the requirements in order to unlock Goo crafting can be rather tedious. Not only do you need to head out and collect the Alchemist from the Alchemist’s Ancient Vault, but you’ll also need to complete some quests for him. More specifically, you’ll have to complete The Alchemist’s Mortar and place it in your base, along with the Alchemist using a Summoning Staff.

Enshrouded: Starter GuideOnce you’ve got everything where it needs to be, it’s time to get down to the actual crafting process. To craft Goo, you’ll need:
- Goo
- Alchemist
- Mortar
- 1x Dirt
- 1x Shroud Liquid
- 1x Bug Dust
While this doesn’t seem like much, you’ll need to craft Bug Dust as well as collect Shroud Liquid. The materials for both of these requirements can be found within the most dangerous place in Enshrouded, the Shroud. Shroud Liquid is collected from small mushrooms, while Bug Dust is crafted from the extremely annoying-to-get Critter Parts.
Luckily, Critters spawn in large groups, so you can collect quite a few at a time. Additionally, Bug Dust has the same crafting requirements as Goo does, so you’ll just need the Alchemist and Mortar to craft it.
Enshrouded is now available on PC.
