To get Ice Fruit in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you must travel to the northwestern part of the game world and search the rocky area of Hebra Mountain. Look for low-growing trees with crystal-shiny, grape-like fruits. Like most other fruits and vegetables, you can collect three Ice Fruits from each tree.

In addition, it is worth noting that Hebra Mountain is not the only place to harvest Ice Fruit. You can find this food on the River of the Dead coast south of Hyrule Field. You can also find a few Ice Fruits on Hyrule Sky Islands, but there are so few of them that this is more of an exception to the rule than a working way of farming.

However, you can use a scanner to find Ice Fruit faster. Collect and drop one Ice Fruit on the ground and take a photo. After that, this fruit will automatically appear in your compendium. Ice Fruit trees within scanner range will glow to help you find the fruit.

Collecting some Ice Fruit, you can immediately eat them to restore a quarter of an HP heart, but this is not very effective. It is much better to use Ice Fruit as an ingredient while cooking. The special Ice Fruit cooking effect will fill the dish with coolness and strength. So if you eat a meal with Ice Fruit, you will get a temporary Biting Effect. Thanks to this effect, all your attacks in cold game locations will deal more damage.

Also, you can use Ice Fruit as a projectile. Stretch the bowstring and select Ice Fruit as the projectile. If you hit an enemy, you will freeze and completely immobilize it for a definite time.
