Keese Eyeballs are a common ingredient in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom but it is easy to forget where they come from. You likely have a few Keese Eyeballs in your inventory already and know where to find them. But you might not have as much as you would like, just like Keese Wings. Just like Octorok Tentacles, they do fall from enemies though it isn’t always guaranteed. Once you know how to get Keese Eyeballs, you will have a steady supply of elixir materials, perfect for your next battle against a tough opponent.

Keese Eyeballs are obtained from Keese enemies, which look like small flying eyeballs. You will often find them in caves or the Depths, and they sometimes fly around in groups during the night. If you are starting out near Lookout Landing, try Ranch Ruins Cave in the southeast or Passeri Greenbelt Cave to the west.  When taking them on, equip weapons with a fast attack speed since Keeses can fly around you. While they aren’t dangerous like Moblins, their threat comes from flying around and attacking you when you leave yourself open.

It’s not easy to get these materials since they don’t always drop when you defeat a Keese. You might have to defeat a few Keeses to get enough Keese Eyeballs for your elixir needs. Don’t let that discourage you, because this is how most monster parts are obtained throughout the game.

If you went around several caves defeating the Keese, it might be hard to get more materials . Fortunately, a blood moon will restore all the Keese to their areas and positions. This lets you get Keese Eyeballs without worrying about running out, and lets you test several elixir recipes. The blood moon can be frustrating at times but it ensures you will never run out of ingredients for your recipes.

More materials can be found in caves in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which pair well with Keese Eyeballs. Freely mix and match elixirs now that you know how to get Keese Eyeballs whenever you need them. There is no enemy in this game that doesn’t respawn outside of unique bosses, and there’s always a way to retrieve a material you picked up before.
