Of course, your crewmates won’t leave you alone, but many players want much more. Luckily, you can get a romantic relationship or even get married after going through several touching scenes and quests. So we are here to help you and tell you how to get married in Starfield.

Before you can get married in Starfield, you should know a few essential facts. Firstly, you can only marry 4 NPCs – Sarah Morgan, Barrett, Sam Coe, and Andreja. In this case, your character’s gender, religion, and faction do not matter. Secondly, before marrying a definite NPC, you must establish friendships and romantic relationships with them. We have a detailed guide on how to romance all your companions in Starfield, but in short, here’s what you should do:

  • First, accept the chosen NPC into your team.
  • Secondly, often take him with you on missions and explore the planets. In addition, conversations with them as often as possible.
  • At some story point, the NPC will notice your attention and consider you worthy to reveal the secret that worries it.
  • Depending on the chosen NPC, you will learn about different details of his biography and receive the corresponding quest.
  • Upon finishing the quest, you can choose the type of relationship you want to start with the NPC, and Romance is one of them.

Once you start a romantic relationship, you can take your relationship to the next level. All you need to do is spend more time together and wait. But if you want specifics, here’s what you should do to get married in Starfield:

  • Keep taking your partner on missions, talk to them, and wait. After a few hours/days of gameplay, a new Commitment option will appear in the dialogue.
  • Choose this option, and your partner will say Yes.
  • Wait some more time while they make preparations for the wedding.

Depending on your spouse, you will celebrate your wedding in different places and guests. You won’t regret your decision as it is an incredibly heartwarming and sweet event. But from a pragmatic point of view, you will not receive any benefits that would not have been available when you were in a regular romantic relationship.
