How to Get Platinum in Warframe (The Fast Way)

Mo’ Platinum, mo’ problems.

There are more than a dozen ways to get Platinum in Warframe but only a few of them are what you can consider as fast and truly free. For the record, you don’t really need Platinum in Warframe, but you can consider it a faster ticket to endgame-readiness, especially once you start dying in Steel Path or Netracells. So here’s how to get Platinum fast and consistently (sadly, not so easy).

Methods to Get Platinum in Warframe

We’ll be listing down the ways, and you can try them out depending on which resources you have available or where you’re currently in the game.

Also, these are all free and obtainable through grinding. Otherwise, the fastest method is to buy Platinum using real money.

Selling Prime Parts to Other Players

Here’s how this method goes. Note that you can earn more (even double Platinum) when Baro Ki’teer is near or is already in a Relay.

  1. Play any easy or endless Void Fissure mission (Survival preferred), preferably in a group, and pick your most numerous Relics. Don’t both using Void Traces to upgrade the Relics since you’re only after “trash” Prime Parts.
  2. Open as many Relics as you can. Collect as many Prime Parts (weapons, Warframes, etc.) as you can.
  3. Go to Warframe.market and check if any of the Prime Parts you acquired can sell for more than 5-10 Platinum. If so, then try to sell those for more than 10 Platinum or so.
  4. Otherwise, you have trash Prime Parts which you can sell to other players for 1-2 Platinum each.

Do this until you run out of Relics. From time to time, you’ll get a valuable Prime Part depending on your luck.

Selling Syndicate Arcanes to Other Players

Arcanes that you can get from the Plains of Eidolon (via Eidolon hunts) can be tricky and the whole reward pool is too saturated with many weak Arcanes. Your best bet is to farm Arcanes which you can buy from the Holdfasts Syndicate in Zariman.

This is only possible once you’ve completed the Angels of Zariman quest.

  1. Rank up your Standing in the Holdfasts until you can buy the Molt and Cascadia Arcanes. Rank 5 is preferable for Molt Augmented.
  2. To maximize your effort here, run Exterminate, Void Flood, or Mobile Defense bounties from Quinn. Keep collecting those Voidplumes.
  3. Convert the Voidplumes into Standing, and then rank up or buy the following Arcanes from Cavalero:
    • Molt Vigor
    • Cascadia Flare
    • Molt Efficiency
    • Molt Augmented
  4. Sell the aforementioned Arcanes to other players. Check Warframe.market again for prices.

You’d be surprised at how many players want to avoid the Holdfasts grind.

Sell Riven Mods

You don’t exactly get to farm Riven mods the same way you farm Prime Parts or Arcanes. They’re more limited. But you’ll find plenty of players looking to buy veiled or “trash” Riven mods for around 20 Platinum or so.
