Do you want to know how to get Root Beer Sprinkles in Sea of Thieves? The first Tall Tale of the Journey to Melee Island in The Legend of Monkey Island is now available, and you must find Root Beer Sprinkles for the Prison Break Commendation. However, many players find it challenging to get this item as you’re not given a clear clue where you can find it. So, let’s look at how to get Root Beer Sprinkles in Sea of Thieves.

You can get Root Beer Sprinkles in Sea of Thieves from the shelves at the corner of the kitchen. Many players get confused about this because it appears as a container rather than an ingredient. You can add it to the boiling pot directly.

You can complete the Prison Break Commendation by blowing the jail cell lock and freeing Otis. However, you must go through a series of steps to complete it, as below. This includes getting Root Beer Sprinkles in Sea of Thieves:

  1. Purchase Chef’s Uniform.
  2. Make Root Beer Stewed Meat.
  3. Feed Piranha Poodles.
  4. Blow up the jail cell lock.

Purchasing Chef’s Uniform

Once you get to Mêlée Island, head to the Scumm Bar and talk to the Chef. Tell him you are looking for work, and he will say a reserved Chef’s Uniform is at the General Store. You have to go there and purchase the uniform for 45 Pieces o’ Eight. You can collect these Pieces of Eight from different locations across the island.

Making Root Beer Stewed Meat

After you have purchased the Chef’s Uniform, it’s time to make a Root Beer Stewed Meat. Head back to the Scumm Bar kitchen and start making the dish while wearing the Chef’s Uniform:

  1. Dice the onion and leeks on the table.
  2. Add them to the boiling pot in the corner.
  3. Add meat to the pot on the other table.
  4. As mentioned above, the Caniche Mordant Flower will be on the Rack, and Root Beer Sprinkles will be on the shelves. Add them both to the boiling pot.
  5. Then open the locked door with the kitchen key and catch a Red Herring using the fishing rod on the deck.
  6. Add Red Herring to the pot to complete the dish.

Feeding Piranha Poodles

Take the Root Beer Stewed Meat made with Root Beer Sprinkles in Sea of Thieves and go to Alley. Then place the meat in the Dog bowl, and Piranha Poodles will eat the meat. Once they have eaten, they will eliminate Walt. Then grab the Pair of Gunpowder Gummies from where he was seated.

Blowing up the Jail Cell Lock

Now go to jail and place the Gunpowder Gummies on the locks on Otis’s cell. Then go to General Store and purchase Gunpowder Fuses for 70 Pieces of Eight. Come back to jail and Place the Gunpowder Fuses on each lock. Fire the Fuses, which will blow up the lock and free Otis from the cell.
