The new season of Destiny 2 is here, and with it, a bunch of new stuff has arrived, including new raids like in previous seasons of the game. With raids come new rewards and of course some amazing new weapons that can help you with the rest of your journey and adventure. Rufus’s Fury is one of the new weapons added to Destiny 2, and here is how to get it in the game.

How to Get Rufus’s Fury in Destiny 2

If you have played any of the previous seasons of Destiny 2, then you know raids usually have some of the best weapon drops in the game. It is more challenging and time-consuming, therefore they are the better weapons in the game.

Rufus’s Fury is a 720 RPM auto rifle that was added to the game as part of the new season. In order to get this amazing weapon, you have to play the Root of Nightmares raid.

But in order to get this weapon, you have to at least reach the third encounter where you have to face Zo’aurc. Rufus’s Fury only drops in the third and final encounter which you have to face Nezarec.

After completing the encounters and getting the weapon, you can purchase additional copies with Spoils of Conquest and the chests in this raid will also have a chance of dropping this weapon.

Rufus’s Fury is considered among the best weapons players have acquired so far this season. If you really want to use the maximum potential of this weapon, make sure you have the best rolls.

Rufus’s Fury is an outstanding weapon in the PvE part of the game, and more of a good choice in the PvP section of Destiny 2. If you usually play PvE, make sure to select the Polygonal Rifling barrel with Ricochet Round in the magazine. Make sure to select the Perpetual Motion and Target Lock perks as well.

As for PvP it is best to stick with Polygonal Rifling barrel and Ricochet Rounds but use Demolitionist and Hatcling perks instead.

Destiny 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
