Want to know how to get Snorunt Fur in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Pokémon hunting has always been the core mechanic of all small pocket monster games. But in Scarlet and Violet, you will get not only powerful allies but also a lot of materials for crafting TM. If you’re looking for the best TMs for your Ice-type Pokemon, you might want to get your hands on the Avalanche TM, in which case you’ll need Snorunt Fur. To find this material, you must go north of Paldea and encounter the nice little pokemon Snorunt. But our guide is here to help you and tell you how to get Snorunt Fur in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
How to Get Snorunt Fur in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To get Snorunt Fur in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must defeat or capture Snorunt, Glalie, or Froslass in their habitats. Small Snorunts rarely come down from the snowy mountains, preferring to walk along Glaseado Mountain and only occasionally go down to the foot. At the same time, Glalie habitats are smaller, but they often move in packs in the northeast and northwest corners of the map. As for Froslass, these Pokémon live in most of northern Paldea. And although their habitat is much larger than the rest, they are much rarer. To summarize the above, visit the following locations to find each member of the Snorunt family:
- Snorunt: Glaseado Mountain, North Province (Area One).
- Glalie: South Province (Area Four), West Province (Area Three), West Province (Area Two).
- Froslass: East Province (Area Two), Montenevera, Porto Marinada, South Province (Area Five), West Paldean Sea.
The best choice for farming Snorunt Fur is Snorunt, as he is the weakest and most common. But even so, you should choose the right opponents to win faster. As an Ice-type Pokémon, Snorunt and its subsequent evolution forms are weak against Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel-type moves and take 2x damage from these. At the same time, you shouldn’t use Pokemon with Ice-type attacks, as Snorunt has resistance to these moves.
