On your journey to become the best Pal Tamer that’s ever been, you’ll soon be tasked with acquiring Sulfur. This rare ore is not only tricky to track down, but it’s critical when it comes to crafting gunpowder and ammo. So, if you’re struggling and need some tips, here’s how to get Sulfur in Palworld. Let’s do this!
Where to Find Sulfur in Palworld
We’ll cut right to the chase: to obtain Sulfur in Palworld, you’re going to need to mine big yellow rocks that can only be found in Desert Biomes or inside Dungeons that can be accessed via cave entrances.
Unfortunately, Desert Biomes are quite rare, though we had luck finding some in the northeast region of the map. Additionally, Dungeons are also quite hard to come by as well. However, we did find two Dungeon locations on the Ice Wind Island and the Forgotten Island.
When heading out into the wild and attempting to farm Sulfur, we’d highly recommend that you take a Digtoise pal with you as his partner skill, Drill Crusher, will allow you to mine Sulfur a lot quicker. Alternatively, Astegon or any Pal with the Mining skill works particularly well here.
What Is Sulfur Used for?
Interestingly, Sulfur is incredibly useful, especially as you progress into the later stages of your adventure in Palworld. Specifically, the material is used primarily to create Gunpowder. It’s a rarer resource than, say, rock or wood, so try not to get too frustrated if it takes you a little longer to find. The game’s official description is as follows:
Sulfur that can be found in volcanoes and such. Necessary for making Gunpowder.
