Finding the “keys” and unlocking the sword is going to take you all over Hyrule, so if you’re looking for the Fierce Deity Sword, this guide will help.
How To Find the Fierce Deity Sword in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
In order to get the Fierce Deity Sword, you will need to find where it’s being held. To do this, travel to Foothill Stable in the Eldin region. Just north of the Stable, you’ll find Kisiona Shrine. Be sure to unlock the shrine for convenience later. Continue north from the shrine following the nearby smoke plume, and you’ll find two treasure hunters, Domidak and Prissen, outside Celpha Lake Cave. Interact with them, and they’ll explain that there’s treasure in the cave, but they’re unable to find which chest the treasure is in.
Instead of going in and searching the cave yourself, approach the dog at the treasure hunters’ campsite. Give it food, and the dog will lead you into the cave and lay down in front of the right treasure chest. Open the chest indicated by the dog, and you’ll get the Ember Trousers, which boost your attack power in hot weather. The treasure hunters will rush in to congratulate you, but we’re not done here yet. After they leave, Domidak and Prissen will leave a letter in a bottle. Read the letter, and you’ll find three clues Misko left to the location of the Fierce Deity Armor.

You can find our complete guide on how to find the Fierce Deity Armor here. The quest will have you traveling to Akkala Citadel, Skull Lake, and an Ancient Tree Stump in Hyrule Field. After you’ve found the Fierce Deity Armor, Mask, and Boots, equip the entire set and return to Celpha Lake Cave. Re-enter the cave, and the stone door on the left side will open. Go through into the new room, and you’ll find a note from Misko congratulating you on finding this place.
“The Fierce Deity Sword is yours to take,” the note says. “You’ve earned it.”
Open the chest on the dais to receive the Fierce Deity Sword, an awesome-looking two-handed weapon with 38 attack power.
