Looking at the Hero of Winds Set, you immediately recognize Link’s classic outfit. And by wearing the whole set, you can get both 9 Defense and a bonus to your Power Attack. Therefore, it should be in your armor collection. However, like many other items from previous games in the series, you can get the Hero of Winds set using the Wind Waker Link Amiibo. Luckily, Nintendo decided to please the players by hiding different pieces of armor in Treasure Chests around the world.

Where to Find the Hero of Winds Set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Hero of Winds set consists of three pieces of armor. They are scattered at different ends of the Depths, so you will have to look for them for quite some time. Or, you can follow our tips on where to find the Hero of Winds set in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tunic of the Wind

  1. Fall into the depths through the Hyrule Ridge Chasm.
  2. Then head west until you find a Kataki Lightroot.
  3. Turn north, and you will find Cuho Canyon Mine.
  4. There is a Chest in the center of these ruins. (Coordinates: -3789, 1344, -0682)
  5. Open it to get Tunic of the Wind.

Cap of the Wind

  1. First, get to Tingel Island, which is located east of Tarrey Town.
  2. Jump into Tingel Island Chasm and head south to the last cave. You will have to break rocks to pass through the caves.
  3. When you get to the end, you will find a Chest with a Cap of the Wind. (Coordinates: 4655, 0621, -0722)

Trousers of the Wind

  1. Use the Meda Mountain Chasm to descend into the Depths.
  2. Then head southeast until you reach Flux Construct III.
  3. Run past it to get to the Cresia Pit Mine, which contains the Chest you need. (Coordinates: 3794, -3613, -0445)
  4. Inside you will find Trousers Of The Wind and complete the Winds set in Tears of the Kingdom.
