Do you want to know how to get the Mystic Trousers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Mystic Trousers in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is an armor piece. It is a part of the Mystic Armor Set with a unique effect. It makes Link invulnerable to attacks. Well, not exactly, but Link loses Rupees instead of health. Players should add this piece to their collection as soon as possible, but getting it can be a bit tricky. This guide will show you how to get the Mystic Trousers in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Players can get Mystic Trousers by buying them from Kotlin Shop. This is the version of the beloved Kilton’s Fang and Bone shop everyone remembers from Zelda Breath of the Wild. You won’t be able to trade Rupees for the Mystic Trousers, but Bubbul Gems. You will get access to the Kotlin Shop after completing the side quest “The Hunt for Bubbul Gems.”

Once the quest is completed, Link will be able to trade Bubbul Gems for items, better say, an item at Kotlin Shop. This is because Kotlin only sells one item at a time. Until you buy the item that is currently in the shop, you won’t be able to get a new one. This means you will spend a few Bubbul Gems you didn’t count to get the Mystic Trousers in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Mystic Trousers alone cost 4 Bubbul Gems. The Mystic Trousers has a Base Defense of 3, but you can upgrade this at the Great Fairy Fountain.

The list of Kotlin Shop items is fixed, but it will take a few Bubbul Gems before Mystic Trousers are offered. Here is a list of items before Mystic Trousers in the shop.

  • Moblin Maks – 2 Bubbul Gems
  • Hinox Toenail x3 – 2 Bubbul Gems
  • Mystic Robe – 3 Bubbul Gems
  • Fire Keese Eyeball x8 – 3 Bubbul Gems
  • Lizalfos Mask – 3 Bubbul Gems
  • Ice-Breath Lizalfos Tail x5 – 3 Bubbul Gems
  • Mystic Trousers – 4 Bubbul Gems

Luckily, farming Bubbul Gems in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is easy. While exploring the vast open world of Hyrule, you will discover numerous caves. These caves are homes to various creatures, including Bubbulfrogs. Each cave in Hyrule has one Bubbulfrog climbing its walls or ceiling. Bubbulfrog, when killed, will grant you one Bubbul gem, which you can later exchange for the Mystic Trousers.

You will also need Mystic Headpiece and Mystic Robe to complete the entire Mystic Armor set. These items can be bought at the exact location as the Mystic Trousers. However, you will need a few more Bubbul Gems to complete the entire Mystic Armor set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
