There are many different Katana in Elden Ring, and in general, these weapons are extremely powerful in terms of both PvP and PvE. If you enjoy playing with Katana-class weapons in Elden Ring, the Serpentbone Blade is a must-have weapon. Its unique Double Slash ability allows you to deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time. However, obtaining this weapon is not as easy as just going to a location and picking it up. Instead, you’ll need to complete a quest line to get the Serpentbone Blade. Without further ado, let’s dive into how to get this weapon and the best build option you can use.
Where To Find Serpentbone Blade in Elden Ring
To get the Serpentbone Blade in Elden Ring, you need to reach Volcano Manor and complete the questline of an NPC named Tanith. When you arrive here, Tanith asks you to kill two different NPCs. When you do this, you’ll get the Serpentbone Blade as a reward.
Follow these steps to get Serpentbone Blade:
- Reach Volcano Manor and start a dialog with Tanith.
- At the end of the conversation, select “Join Volcano Manor” and get the Drawing-Room Key.
- Then head to the back hallway and open the second door with the key.
- When you turn right in the room, you will see the “Letter from Volcano Manor” item on the table. When you read the letter, a red banner will mark the point where you need to go on the map for you.
- Go there and invade Old Knight Istvan‘s world by activating the red signature on the ground.
- After killing the NPC, go back and talk to Tanith and you will be rewarded with a Magma Shot.
- Then go back to the same room, get and read the “Letter from Volcano Manor” again, and find out where your next target is.
- After killing the NPC named Rileigh the Idle, go back to Tanith for the last time and get your Serpentbone Blade as a reward.
Best Serpentbone Blade Build in Elden Ring
You can use the Serpentbone Blade in the Elden Ring with either two hands or one hand. However, if you are going to use it with one hand, we recommend choosing a Katana that will provide status builds such as Frost, Poison, Blood, or Scarlet Rot in your left hand. This way, the status effect you deal to the enemy will be much more destructive.
