A common challenge for Genshin Impact fans is that they have to create builds for each character. Sometimes, it can be difficult to get 5-star weapons, but there are very good 4-star options for characters like Freminet. An example would be the Snow Tombed Starsilver, obtained via a World Quest in Genshin Impact. This claymore is in Dragonspine, an icy region within Mondstadt. This area has represented many challenges for those new to the game. Not only are the monsters hard to deal with, but you must also deal with the cold, which drains HP from your active character.
Where To Find Snow Tombed Starsilver in Genshin Impact
To get the Snow Tombed Starsilver, you must first unlock the blueprints to forge it at a blacksmith. To get this item, you need to do the following:
- Complete Dragonspine’s Last Trio.
- The boxes you get during this quest will be used to access a Dragonspine vault.
- You must unlock the Peak of Vindagnyr Domain.
- Once you have completed these three steps, you are ready to trigger the Snow Tombed Starsilver quest that will allow you to get the blueprints for this claymore.
1. Enter the cave near the Statue of the Seven
Travel to the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven and enter the cave beneath the structure.
2. Find eight Stone Tablets
Inside, you will find a sealed mechanism and eight symbols around the cave. You will have to find eight Stone Tablets that activate each symbol. The first tablet is on the side of the mechanism.
3. Head to the second Stone Tablet’s location
Use the Snow Covered Path Teleport Waypoint and head towards the river past the Fatui camp. You will find the second Stone Tablet surrounded by torches on a rock structure.
4. Find the third Stone Tablet
Use the Skyfrost Nail Teleport Waypoint for the third Stone Tablet and head up the icy structures towards the cave exit. You will find a Ruin Grader and a seal mechanism around it. To the side above will be the Stone Tablet.
5. Enter a sealed vault for the fourth Stone Tablet
Return to the cave and glide to the nearest platform. Follow it to the cave exit, and you will find a sealed vault. This will open with Dragonspine’s Last Trio quest boxes, progressing your endeavor to unlock the Snow Tombed Starsilver. Inside, you will find chests and the fourth Stone Tablet.
6. Melt Ancient Rimes for the fifth Stone Tablet
Teleport to the Starglow Cavern Waypoint and glide to the ice square-shaped area. Use a Scarlet Quartz to melt Ancient Rimes. There, you will find the fifth Stone Tablet.
7. Defeat a Ruin Grader for the sixth tablet
Use the Wyrmrest Valley Waypoint closest to Durin’s remains. Head towards Albedo’s lab and continue past the broken bridge. There, you will find another Ruin Grader. Defeat the enemy, and you will find another chest and the sixth Stone Tablet.
8. Explore near the Entombed City Outskirts Waypoint
Head to the Entombed City Outskirts Waypoint and head north, parallel to the Cryo Hypostasis. You will find a subway tunnel leading you under the Hypostasis and to the seventh Stone Tablet.
9. Unlock the Peak of Vindagnyr
You must first unlock the Peak of Vindagnyr Domain for the eighth Stone Tablet. So you can teleport there and activate the last seal.
10. Activate the mechanism
Return to the cave below the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven. This time, you can activate the mechanism. Enter the vault; you will get the Memory of the Entombed City Diagram in the chest. You will also unlock the Glacial Steel Achievement.
Materials to Craft the Snow Tombed Starsilver in Genshin Impact
Before we can give the claymore from Dragonspine to your Freminet, you will need the materials to forge it with the blacksmith. The items required to create Snow Tombed Starsilver can be easily farmed.

Best Characters for the Snow Tombed Starsilver in Genshin Impact
The Snow Tombed Starsilver has a physical DMG + 7.5% and the Frost Burial skill. This skill allows that after hitting an enemy with normal and charged attacks. It has a 60% chance of forming and dropping an Everfrost Icicle above it, dealing 80% AoE ATK DMG. Enemies affected by Cryo are dealt 200% ATK DMG. It can only occur once every 10s. So for this claymore, the best characters are:
