How do you get the Vexcalibur in Destiny 2? The Vexcalibur is an exotic sword in Destiny 2 obtained through steps. It is a powerful weapon that significantly damages enemies, making it a valuable addition to Guardian’s arsenal. Season of the Defiance saw the introduction of Vexcalibur in Destiny 2, a unique Exotic glaive that does Void damage.

Vexcalibur in Destiny 2 Should finish the secret exotic objective of the Variable from Season of Defiance. The weapon is a modified version of The Pyramidion strike on IO, which is no longer usable and is acquired after the mission. To access the mission that results in the weapon, you must first solve a tiny riddle in the EDZ’s Gulch location.

How To Get The Vexcalibur in Destiny 2

This guide will walk you through the steps to get the Vexcalibur in Destiny 2.

Step 1: Obtain the Pattern Quest

To start the quest for the Vexcalibur, you must first obtain the Pattern quest. This quest is given by Banshee-44, the gunsmith in the Tower. You must have completed the Beyond Light campaign and unlocked the Season of the Chosen to receive this quest.

Step 2: Collect Paradoxical Roots

After obtaining the Pattern quest, you must collect Paradoxical Roots. The locations of Europa and Nessus contain these precious elements. You can find Paradoxical Roots by completing public events, patrols, and other activities on these planets.

Step 3: Charge the Paradoxical Roots

Once you have collected enough Paradoxical Roots, you must charge them by defeating enemies with swords. The number of kills required depends on the rarity of the enemy, with more difficult enemies requiring more kills. You can also charge Paradoxical Roots by completing Strikes and Nightfall activities.

Step 4: Defeat the Harpy Boss in the Glassway Strike

After charging the Paradoxical Roots, you must complete the Glassway Strike on Europa. This Strike involves fighting through various Vex enemies and defeating the Harpy boss, Atheon, Time’s Conflux. Upon defeating Atheon, you will receive a quest item called Aeonian Bloom.

Step 5: Obtain Radiolarian Fluid

The next step in obtaining the Vexcalibur is to collect Radiolarian Fluid. You can find this uncommon resource on Mercury by completing Public Events, Lost Sectors, and other tasks.

Step 6: Charge the Radiolarian Fluid

After obtaining Radiolarian Fluid, you must charge it by defeating enemies with swords. As with the Paradoxical Roots, the number of kills required depends on the rarity of the enemy.

Step 7: Complete the “Curse of the Nexus” Quest

Once you have charged the Radiolarian Fluid, you must complete the Curse of the Nexus quest. This quest requires you to complete a series of objectives, including defeating Vex enemies, completing Strikes, and defeating the boss in the Nexus Strike on Venus.

Step 8: Defeat the Vex Mind in the Nexus Strike

After completing the Curse of the Nexus quest, you must complete the Nexus Strike on Venus again. This time, you will face a more powerful Vex Mind boss, and upon defeating it, you will receive the Vexcalibur exotic sword.

Step 9: Upgrade the Vexcalibur

Once you have obtained the Vexcalibur, you can upgrade it by completing the Memory of the Dying quest. This quest requires you to collect various materials and complete activities on Europa and Nessus. Upon completing the search, you will receive an upgraded version of the Vexcalibur with increased power and abilities.

Obtaining Vexcalibur in Destiny 2 requires completing a series of quests, collecting rare materials, and defeating powerful enemies. While it may take some time and effort to obtain, the Vexcalibur is a powerful and valuable weapon well worth the effort. Currently, you can get Destiny 2 for purchase on Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Steam, the Epic Games Shop, and Xbox Series X/S.
