Even though Starfield invites you to explore the vastness of space, you will spend most of your time on planets or stations. Fortunately, each planet is unique and may even have large cities. One of the first such large planets you will visit will be planet Jemison in the Alpha Centauri system. On this planet, you will find New Atlantis, the capital of the United Colonies, which may seem like a perfect place to live. But in reality, this is not since it has another side called the Well. So, read on to find out how to find the entrance to the Well in Starfield.

When you first begin your Starfield adventure, you will visit New Atlantis. It is a large, rich city and the capital of the United Colonies. However, this would be a utopia if everything was perfect here. With a little searching, you can find an area called The Well for less wealthy people. It is located under the city but has several entrances:

  • The first entrance to The Well is quite close to the spaceport. Just run to Jemison Mercantile. Behind it, you will find an elevator that takes you down to the underground area of the city.
  • The second one is located near the MAST tram station. Go right after exiting the tram, and you will find another elevator leading to The Well in Starfield.
  • Finally, the third entrance is in the Lodge. Just go down to the basement and find the door in the hallway.

What To Do in The Well in Starfield

Even though The Well is not a wealthy area of New Atlantis, you can find a lot of good things in it. This is not surprising since this is also the most populated area of the city. Therefore, it has many shops and restaurants:

  • Kay’s House (Restaurant)
  • Jake’s (Restaurant)
  • MedBay (Medical Supplies and Healing Shop)
  • UC Surplus (General Store)
  • Apex Electronics (Electronics Vendor)

While exploring The Well in Starfield, you can not only purchase various resources and weapons but also find several side quests with good rewards. Plus, if you like the area, you can buy an apartment here for only 30,000 Credits.

That’s all you need to know about how to find the entrances to The Well in Starfield. This area will help you get useful items, so follow our tips to get there. And while you are here, take a look at our guide on how to register a Stolen Ship.
