  • Coral Island: Using Black Trumpet
This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Although Coral Island’s colorful expanse is rich in a variety of plants, fruits, and vegetables, finding resources like Black Trumpet can seem overwhelming. Essential material for the Fall Sesajen offering in the Crop altar, this mushroom is rare and can only be found in specific game locations. Moreover, your success depends on your luck, so it is possible that you will not be able to find even one during the entire season. However, searching is not the only way to get a Black Trumpet because you can also grow it yourself, and we will help you with this.

Where To Find Black Trumpet in Coral Island

First of all, it is worth noting that you can get Black Trumpet in Coral Island in two ways:

  • Found in the wild.
  • Grow on your farm with Mushroom Log.

However, no matter what method you like, first of all, you will have to go in search and find at least one Black Trumpet. The bad news is that they only grow in Fall and are about as rare as Fig, but fortunately, there are quite a few locations in which you can try your luck:

  • First, you should visit the Forest in the western part of the game world. Search the area around the Huntress Cabin and The Mine, and you may find some mushrooms.
  • Next, explore the area around Bath House in Hillside.
  • You can also find several Black Trumpets near the Vineyard in the Hillside area.
  • Finally, a relatively common Black Trumpet spawn place is near Ben’s Caravan. Follow the main path from the Cave to Ben’s car, and you will probably find at least one mushroom.

If, after finding a few mushrooms, you no longer want to waste time searching for them, you can increase your stock with the help of Mushroom Log. You will unlock the recipe for this device once you reach Foraging level 6. After that, use x25 Wood and x10 Compost to create this pile of logs. Place a Black Trumpet in it, and you will receive 2 Black Trumpets after two in-game days. Create more Mushroom Logs, and you can farm big money from growing mushrooms.

Coral Island: Using Black Trumpet

Well, now that you have accumulated a lot of mushrooms, it’s time to use them. And the first thing you should take care of is the Crop altar. Black Trumpet is one of the Fall Sesajen offerings, so you should always have a small supply each fall.

Alternatively, you can sell this mushroom and make some good money. The price can range from 46 to 92 coins depending on the rarity, but having large reserves of this material can recoup the time spent creating a Mushroom Log farm. In addition, selling is one of the best options since the residents of Coral Island are not particularly fond of such gifts, and the Crop altar does not require too much.

Coral Island is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
