With the introduction of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season, mythological gods such as Hades, Zeus, Ares, and Cerberus have arrived in the game. The unique powers of these gods from Greek Mythology have also been added to the game as Mythic items. For example, you can find Wings of Icarus and Thunderbold of Zeus in the game now. You can also find and use Chains of Hades, the Hades Whip, in Fortnite. But first, you must know how to get and use the Hades Whip.

Chains of Hades fortnite

Chains of Hades, aka Hades Whip, has finally been added to the Fortnite loot pool. There are multiple ways to obtain this item. A few of them are based on luck, but there’s also a way to get it for sure every time.

  • Chest: You can get Chains of Hades from regular and Rare Chests. (Based on luck)
  • Floor Loot: As with many other items, it is also possible to find it as floor loot. (Based on luck)
  • Olympian Chest: Olympian Chests are also known as Underworld or God Chests. These chests can only be found in The Underworld, Grim Gate, Mount Olympus, and Brawler’s Battleground. (Based on luck)
  • Hades: Finally, the guaranteed way to get the Hades Whip in Fortnite is by defeating the Hades boss in The Underworld. (You can get Chains of Hades every time)

The Hades Whip allows you to damage your enemy up close and pull them towards you. It’s not as powerful as the Thunderbolt of Zeus, but it can be extremely useful in some specific situations.
